Carcinomatous neuromyopathy

Internal Medicine

Carcinomatous neuromyopathy refers to neuromuscular lesions and functional disorders occurring in patients with malignant tumors that are not caused by direct tumor invasion. That is, it is unrelated to metastatic infiltration of the cancer, but rather refers to characteristic neurological, psychiatric, and myopathic changes that occur before or after the appearance of symptoms of the primary tumor.
