Syncope is a sudden, transient, and temporary loss of consciousness with collapse, caused by transient, widespread cerebral ischemia and hypoxia, and naturally recovers within a short time. Its typical manifestations are pallor, loss of consciousness, and sudden collapse, often accompanied by prodromal symptoms such as dizziness, blurred vision, nausea, weakness, and cold sweats. It is actually a state of cerebral anemia, mainly caused by a sudden drop in blood pressure and cerebral ischemia leading to insufficient oxygen supply, or due to changes in blood chemical composition such as hypoglycemia, alkalosis, and damage to the brain tissue itself.
